Hi! Nik Fairbrother here with this week’s Koka Kids Judo Coaching Resources. At the Barcelona 1992 Olympic Games, I won the Olympic silver medal. A year later, I achieved my life long ambition of becoming a world judo champion. Now, I publish books for kids who love judo and supply coaching material to judo coaches all over the world through the KK+ Library. You can receive these resources by taking out a paid monthly or annual subscription.

Thank you for your support!

About (tips from Nik)

Google ‘Teddy Riner Ouchi-Gari into Osoto-Gari’ and you’ll see what I mean. Riner (triple Olympic Champion and ten-time World Champion) is the master of this combination. But that doesn’t mean you have to be a champion to be able to do it. The basic movement is simple. It’s a combination suitable for intermediates and advanced judoka teaching movement and balance points.
