So, what’s new?
When I started Koka Kids, I asked myself one question: How can I make judo learning for kids as simple and engaging as possible? I'm excited to think this does just that.
Here’s how it works:
Every week, subscribers receive an update. But this isn't just any update. It's a carefully curated package of judo knowledge delivered right to your inbox!
Inside that email, you'll find printable materials. Eye-catching, high-resolution technique posters. Step-by-step guides that break down complex moves into simple, learnable steps. Take-home worksheets and Achievement Certificates. And the best part? It's all printable. Right from your email to your dojo.
But here's where it gets really exciting.
See this? It's not just a code. It's a portal. A portal that takes you from the physical poster to what I’m calling the i-Dojo. With one scan, judoka can see the techniques on the poster animated. Bringing the technique posters to life. Accelerating learning. Engaging different learning styles.
But this isn’t just about pretty visuals. It’s more than that. This may look like fun, but Koka Kids is based on sound technique and solid coaching.
All the resources are based on how I learnt judo, taught by the legendary Pinewood Judo Coach, Don Werner.
Don’s methods of teaching, combined with my own experience as a world champion, and experience as author of 30 children’s books underpins the Koka Kids Judo Journey.
I believe great judo education should be inspiring, rewarding and accessible to everyone. This takes a step towards just that!
This is the Koka Kids Judo Journey, I hope you like it.
Thank you!
Nik Fairbrother
