There are four certificates, with the objective to move the student up through the skill levels
Here are my suggested requirements/recommendations for each level below - or of course you could add your own to the blank Task Sheet template below.
Level 1: Basic Hold Down
Level 2: Able to Escape from Yoko-Shiho-Gatame
Level 3: Able to do a Turnover into Yoko-Shiho-Gatame
Level 4: Able to Throw and hold with Yoko-Shiho-Gatame
As well as helping the kids, Certificates are a great way for parents to see how their child is progressing at judo.
