About Koka Kids 4 Skills
The objective of Koka Kids 4 Skills, is to progress judoka through the different levels of learning a judo throw, along the way giving them tangible recognition of their milestone achievements.
🏆 As they progress through the different levels, they receive certificates that showcase their achievements and skills.
By breaking down the throws into manageable skills, they can tackle one skill at a time and see their improvement along the way. 🥋💪
Not only do these certificates motivate the kids, but parents also love them too! Most parents want to see their child's progress and know what they are learning at judo.
Making the most of Koka Kids 4 Skills at Your Dojo
1/ Start by giving out a task sheet to your judoka at the beginning of each month or term. This sheet will contain achievable tasks that they can tick off as they accomplish them. It's a great way to track progress and keep them motivated!
2/ Plan a skills session where you focus on one of the tasks from the sheet. This dedicated session allows you to work on specific skills and techniques related to that task, helping your judoka improve and master it. 🥇🔥
3/ To celebrate the progress made, organise a certificate night at the end of the month or term. Invite parents to watch as you award certificates. It's a fantastic way to recognise hard work and dedication! 🎉🙌
So, there you have it! More coming next Monday about developing movement skills. Until then, have a great week.
